Maui and the tuna

Maui and the tuna
Long long ago when the maori had to catch their own food.Maui was starving. But a huge eel was’t hungry. Maui the warriors stomach was rumbling so loud you could hear from the ocean. Then crash! What was that!
Maui and his village were starving because Maui caught all the fish and the eel had no food Because there was no fish left in the ocean. So the eel hid Maui’s waka.So Maui could’ent catch any food. Then Maui said to his brothers “Have you seen my waka?!””yeah i saw the eel do something to it.”Then they made a plan to catch the eel
Maui caught the eel and then he went into battle.Maui grabbed a gigantic rock and fiercely bashed the slippery eel. Then the eel was nearly dead and Maui asked the eel where is my waka it is in the ocean. Then the eel died then Maui dragged the eel back to the village .Maui felt invincible! Maui was super happy and the village had a feast on the eel. Then they had as much food as they liked.

We have been writing Maui narratives based on a picture. In my writing I tried to make it as interesting as possible.
